A Power's duty to serve her Imperator comes before even the duty of service in the Valde Bellum. The most important duty a Power owes to her Imperator is to serve her Estate. To serve the Estate of Love, one must love. This was the argument None Haggard presented before the Locust Court, demanding her right to love, regardless of the demands of the Windflower Law. Her argument was impassioned; her reasoning, sound- so sound, in fact, that the court was actually obliged to accept it.
It occurred to None some time later that Lord Entropy hates to be balked. Ever since the court decision was handed down in her favor, she's been plagued by some really bad luck, especially in love. At first, she tried to ignore it, but when a prospective lover was mistaken, apparently at random, for a mob boss and gunned down in the middle of the Champs d'Elysee, she began to wonder if somebody was out to get her. Eventually, she arrived at the conclusion that Lord Entropy has put some kind of curse on her, furious at her evasion of the Lostheart Law. And to make matters worse, she's been finding bloody handprints around her homes worldwide, suggesting that the Darkest Lord has been watching her.
This is just intolerable.
